Lot 1487 Ruger Single-Six .22 LR #812375

American made western style small frame single action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle manufactured circa 1968, in Southport, CT. It features a blued finish, 5 1/2" barrel, blade front sight, square notched rear sight, ejector rod with flat faced head, smooth curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, transfer bar safety, fluted six-shot cylinder, black finished alloy triggerguard and straps, and smooth hardwood grips with black/silver Ruger medallions. The revolver retains approximately 65% of its original blued finish showing edge wear, holster wear, edge losses, and small paint losses on the triggerguard and straps. Rust spots can be found on the rear of the recoil shield by the hammer. The action is smooth and crisp with good lock-up, the bore is dirty, but appears bright with strong rifling. The grips are very good with minor handling losses. There is also an address sticker on the backstrap.
